11th Conference of the Federation of the European Zeolite Associations

Dear colleagues

We are very pleased to cordially invite you to attend the 11th Conference of the Federation of European Zeolite Associations (FEZA 2029), which will be held in July 2029 in Lisbon, Portugal.

FEZA 2029 is organized by the Division of Catalysis and Porous Materials of the Portuguese Chemical Society, under the auspices of the Federation of European Zeolite Associations (FEZA). The conference aims to bring together leading scientists and industrial partners with a shared interest in the science, technology, and applications of porous materials, from zeolites and zeotypematerials to metal–organic frameworks (MOFs).

Grounded on the vision that “Zeolites and Porous Materials can Reshape the Future”, FEZA 2029 will premier interdisciplinary challenges and societal impact as independent topics Alongside cutting-edge advances in materials and their fundamentals, key areasof application, such as purification processes, water remediation, sustainable energy storage, low-carbon footprint and circular processes will be on the spotlight.

Building on the strong legacy of previous editions held in Ede, Taormina, Prague, Paris, Valencia, Leipzig, Sofia, Brighton (virtual), Portorož, and Naples, FEZA 2029 is expected to once again provide a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas, insights, and perspectives. The conference will also showcase the achievements of young researchers. Furthermore, it will foster meaningful dialogue between academia and industry, strengthening the link between fundamental research and real-world applications of zeolites and porous materials.

A pre-conference School will precede the main event, offering a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals and applications of zeolites and related porous solids. This school is designed to support early-career researchers, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows, encouraging scientific discussion, networking, and knowledge exchange within the next generation of researchers in the field.
